Read the city beside the lake
The Thang Long–Hanoi themes offer a way to choose books connected with the place around you. Let a child find an image of the city and compare it with something noticed on the walk to the fair. Science books offer another route: follow a question the child often asks. Buying is optional; browsing a few pages and discovering a new question can be the most memorable part.
