Follow one animal through feeding
The presentation introduces tank animals, their characteristics and food, followed by feeding by divers. Let a child choose one animal beforehand and notice whether it changes direction or moves towards food. Knowing its exact species name is not necessary for useful observation. Look across the tank rather than only through a phone: a small movement away from the presenter's immediate focus may be the detail that most interests your child.
Use one short slot to shape the visit
The current timetable lists daily slots at 11:30 and 16:00, each lasting fifteen minutes at Ocean Square. Choose one and arrange browsing before or afterwards rather than waiting for both. Ask for the main-tank route on arrival so the presentation does not begin while you are still searching. Children may enjoy returning to an animal just introduced, making unhurried observation afterwards more valuable than immediately moving to the next activity.
Admission and a comfortable viewing position
This takes place inside the aquarium on B1–B2 of Lotte Mall West Lake: the programme has no separate charge, but aquarium admission is required. There is no listed age limit, although children uneasy in crowds or dim spaces may prefer an easy-to-leave position over the closest view. Ask about stroller needs and presentation language. Reconfirm the day's time, and expect to observe feeding rather than have children feed the fish themselves.
