The show can anchor a simple Han River walk without taking up the whole night, although its sound, spray and gathering crowds make viewing distance an important choice for families.

Two contrasting moments
The published schedule is 21:00 on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and major holidays. Fire lasts around two minutes, followed by approximately three minutes of water. Children can first notice the dragon’s shape and the reflections on the river, then compare the two effects. Because the sequence is short, settling on a viewing spot beforehand is more useful than trying to change position as soon as the first burst begins above the crowd.
Keep the rest of the evening simple
Dinner first, a short riverside walk and the bridge show can make a complete evening without adding several late stops. Children who startle easily may prefer a distant view that still includes the bridge and its lighting. Explain beforehand that there will be fire, sound and water, and leave room to step away if it becomes uncomfortable. The best family position is not necessarily the closest one to the dragon’s head.
Choose the view and the way back
The bridge connects the Nguyen Van Linh and Vo Van Kiet axes across the Han River. Public viewing is distinct from paid restaurant seating or boat services. Check the schedule again during poor weather or special events, avoid blocking pedestrian movement and agree on your return route before the crowd disperses. Stay outside the spray if you want to keep clothing, phones and children’s belongings dry through the final water sequence.
