Begin with what an object does
At number 45, the craft-village product theme offers an everyday starting point: what is an object for, how would someone hold it, and why that shape? Choose something that raises a question and read its label before guessing. Asking about a material or place of origin can reveal more than trying to identify every object in the room.
At number 61, change the question
The contemporary craft-art space at number 61 invites a different comparison. How might a familiar form feel different when its scale or presentation changes? Ask a child whether the object suggests use, decoration or a story. There need not be a single correct answer. Two people imagining different purposes for the same form can make the second stop worthwhile.
Two stops, without a checklist
Start with one address, pause, and decide whether everyone wants the second. This is a suggested way to pace a visit, not a combined tour. Check each space's opening hours separately; a shared exhibition window does not mean a shared ticket. Treat objects as displays unless staff invite handling, and keep expectations separate from a making class.
