Choose a thread to follow
Music, water, fire and light share the storytelling, so there is no need to watch every part of the stage at once. A character, a colour or a scene transition can give a child a thread to follow. Afterwards, ask which image stayed with them and why. Their answer may be more interesting than an adult retelling the plot for them.
Keep some energy for after dark
If the show is a priority, keep the late afternoon light and eat before heading to the square. This is a suggested rhythm for the day, not a reason to stay late simply to maximise a ticket. Children uneasy with darkness, strong sound or fire effects may benefit from knowing what to expect and being able to leave with an adult.
Remember the journey off the island
The stage is inside the Hon Tre Island attraction, not a theatre in central Nha Trang. On arrival, check the day's programme and your ticket conditions, then establish the return arrangements. The advertised 20:10 finish is not a final transport departure. Follow on-site updates if conditions change rather than treating an earlier timetable as an obligation to stay.
