A changing view of the canopy makes a short walk feel exploratory.
Change your viewpoint
Try looking at the canopy from a distance and then from underneath, tracing curves and openings with your eyes. Choose one sculpture to view from two sides and ask which details become clearer from each position. The contrast between the large roof and smaller artworks helps children explore scale through movement rather than relying only on an artwork's title or a photograph.
A pause between destinations
You could spend around 20–30 minutes with the canopy, a few sculptures and a view towards the river. After visiting the nearby Museum of Cham Sculpture, ask how these outdoor works differ from the objects inside. Alternatively, make the park the whole stop and continue along the riverside if the family wants a lighter outing with fewer destinations to reach.
Sun, rain and the river edge
This is an outdoor art park rather than a children's playground. Choose a cooler part of the day, bring water and shorten the walk in rain. Keep children close beside roads and the river edge. Follow paved routes with a stroller and keep climbing off the sculptures.
